Welcome to The Revolving Door, a blog focused on the short
tenures of development staff and what we as an industry can do to lengthen them.
In this blog we will explore the issue from both sides. As an employer, how do you choose the right
development officer and what do you need to do to keep them on your team for many
years? And as an employee, how do you choose
the right organization, what are some of the red flags to look for when choosing an employer, and once you’re
in a job, what you can do to ensure the conditions needed for your success are met?
